My Trinity Network Diagram

The  diagram above of Trinity's local Area Connection (LAN)  shows how the network is connected. From your dorm, the Hasell building, the library or anywhere on campus it connects to the Ruth Taylor center. The network works using Ethernet cables, fiberoptic cables, data in closets to proceed everything and be connected to the Internet and school network. You are only allowed to connect to the network if your on-campus.

TRINITY MYSTERY SPOT

WHERE IS THIS MYSTERY PLACE?

This place is located in a highly trafficked area of Trinity. Most students pass this place when they decide to get some food near. This place is highly visited at the beginning and ending of each semester. I changed the picture but I think you are still able to tell where this place is. First, I decided to crop the picture just a bit and flipped it vertically. Then, I decided to use the Pencil sketch feature in Picnik which made it seem like an art sketch. Looking at it, it gave me the idea to disguise it as an Art Shop. Then, I added text that made it look like a store, such as the "open" sign and the store name. Then, to get more creative I decided to insert stickers that looked like drawn or colored objects made by kids. I added different bright colors to those figures to make them look like if they had actually been colored. So can you tell where this place is?

BEST TECH TIP

When Joe Hatch came to our classroom to talk about the things we can do to enhance the performance of our computers, I really felt he shared very important and vital information that all students should know. Many of the information he gave us was new to me. Even though I thought all the tips he gave were great the best one for me was the use of Ccleaner or Onix. I had never taught that a program like Ccleaner will do a lot for your computer. This will help get rid of junk files or any unnecessary data stored in the computer. This will definitely be helpful for my computer that runs super slow and has too many junk files. But besides helping with the junk files I also found interesting that it provides security. It prevents hackers from getting any personal information like bank account numbers, by erasing all that information. Learning this tip will be one of the best things I will use to have a more faster and more secure computer.

NETWORK SERVER DIAGRAM

The Trinity Network is designated to allow the students and professors to connect easily to share files and  access to their personal files anywhere on campus. While the Network allows easier access it is also safe because it has certain restrictions on who can access or view what.

Introduction

Hey Everyone!!! My name is Michelle Rangel and I just go by Michelle. I am currently a freshman here at Trinity University. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I come from a Hispanic family of eight. I am the second oldest from five girls and a boy. My older sister is a senior at UIW, one sister is in 9th grade, then I have one in 8th grade, and the smallest is in 5th grade. My baby brother is barely two years old so he just stays at home. All my years I attended public schools and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School.
Some of the activities I enjoy doing include: cooking, watching movies, listening to music, spending time with my family and friends, doing community service and playing soccer. I consider myself a shy person at first but once I get to know others I am a really friendly and easy going.
My plan is to graduate with a major in International Business. I plan to participate in clubs such as Latino Exchange and maybe join the soccer team. I like to try new things so maybe I will participate in other sports or academic clubs. But I really like being involved with my school, so for sure I will participate in something.
My knowledge with computers is not very high. I am not very good when It comes to working with all these different programs: I just now basic simple things. I know a little about the programs like excel and Photoshop but not to the point to create something good. So, hopefully I learn a lot in this class and I am able to advance in my tech skills.
